My top five artists

I’ve been um’ing and ah’ing about this for a while and I think I have a my first 4 set in stone.

1) Fall Out Boy. I know what you’re thinking. “Sell outs” and “Emo” and shit like that. Well… in the words of the men themselves ‘I don’t care what you think’ (cheesy, I know). I do agree that Pete Wentz has his head shoved so far up his arse that he has passed being able to smell his own crap, but the rest of them are pretty cool. And I love the lead singer. I’ve seen these in concert and it was pretty good, apart from Pete gassing on in the corner about anarchy.

I just love their lyrics and how they’re written in metaphors a lot of the time.

2) Hadouken. How could you NOT love this band? I’ve also seen these in concert and Oh My God. It was insane. I left Gatecrasher, Notts, feeling a bit shellshocked.

3) Pink. She’s been one of my favourite artists since I was about 13. She’s helped me through my teenage break-ups, my ecstatically happy moments and my ‘I want to kill someone now’ moments. I’ve seen her in concert as well and it was the best £50 I’ve ever spent. Apart from having to sit through a god awful, teenage American band and VV Brown.

4) Mumford and Sons. These guys just know how to speak to the heart. Beautiful, Beautiful men. I have not seen these in concert yet, not from lack of opportunities though!
