→ delacroix: Advice for my former teenage self:
- It’s a waste of your time to worry about what people think of you. There will always be haters, and it’s rarely about you and even more rarely your problem. Let them hate.
- We create our own realities; you can do absolutely anything you want to. Define success for yourself, make your own…
I have regrets and wish I hadn’t done things as a teenager, but there’s only one thing I would tell my former teenage self:
You will be okay.
This probably seems quite generic and corny, but from not getting into university to getting made redundant (okay, that wasn’t when I was a teenager…) I think it’s very fitting.
Luckily, I have a fantastic mum who said it for me.
People,
If you ever find yourself in a position where you’re sending anonymous hate to talk shit about someone’s toddler, you seriously need to reevaluate your life.
This sounds terrible. I absolutely HATE things like this. I’m very precious over family, and the thought of anyone saying shit SERIOUSLY about my sister (let alone if I had a baba), bad things would go down.
